After being certified as a high-tech enterprise, in accordance with the "Several Opinions on Accelerating the Development of the City’s High-Tech Industry" by the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government: Enterprises in high-tech development zones that are recognized as high-tech enterprises can be granted a 15% rate. The tax rate is levied on corporate income tax; newly established high-tech enterprises are exempted from corporate income tax for two years from the year of operation; if the export output value of certified high-tech enterprises reaches more than 50% of the total output value of the year, the tax rate can be reduced at 10% corporate income tax. So far, the company can enjoy a number of preferential policies in accordance with the regulations.
