As a rapidly developing country, our country consumes a lot of resources every year. The development of the remanufacturing industry will effectively save related resources and reduce the consumption of related resources.

For example, the number of machine tools in my country is about 8 million, and the old and worn out machine tools are eliminated at a rate of 3% every year. There will be 240,000 machine tools that need to be eliminated every year, and the machine tool is a relatively precise processing. Tools, many parts and materials can be recycled and reused.

Remanufacturing is an industry that implements high-tech repair and transformation of waste products. It is aimed at damaged or about to be scrapped parts. On the basis of performance failure analysis, life evaluation and other analysis, remanufacturing engineering design is carried out, and a series of Related advanced manufacturing technology enables the quality of remanufactured products to meet or exceed new products. This technology is very suitable for the development needs of our country.

At present, the "18th National Congress of the Communist Party" puts resource-saving and environment-friendly ecological civilization to a higher position. The recent executive meeting of the State Council put forward an important task for the development of circular economy in the "12th Five-Year Plan", which is to carry out remanufacturing. Industrial development pilot projects, the establishment of a remanufacturing industry recycling model, etc., a series of policy direction requirements have pointed out the direction for the development of the remanufacturing industry. Under the strong guidance of national policies, the remanufacturing industry has ushered in a new stage of development.

The social ownership of various mechanical and electrical products in my country is very large, such as the ownership of 100 million automobiles, more than 8 million machine tools, 200 million internal combustion engines, and 1.5 billion kilowatts of motors. With such a large inventory, a large part of it has basic functions, but the performance indicators have declined. Whether these products are remanufactured or scrapped is a big issue related to ecological civilization.

Taking machine tool remanufacturing again as an example, China is the world's largest machine tool consumer market. Based on the annual obsolescence rate of machine tool obsolescence of 35, 240,000 machine tools enter the ranks of remanufacturing each year, accounting for about half of the annual production of new machine tools. Heavy and super-heavy machine tools are estimated to account for 2% of the total number of machine tools. About 4,000 heavy and super-heavy machine tools enter the ranks of remanufacturing each year. According to statistics, 60% of the heavy and super-heavy machine tools currently in use in my country will face technological or functional elimination. During the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, about 50,000 units will enter the remanufacturing market, and a comprehensive technological transformation is awaiting. It can be said that the market potential of the remanufacturing industry is huge.

The remanufacturing industry faces a new development environment and opportunities. Many industries in my country have experienced severe overcapacity, and the new product market is declining drastically. However, the use of waste electromechanical products for processing, development and remanufacturing has become an important model for resisting economic downturn risks and opening up new consumer markets. Because remanufacturing of electromechanical products has typical energy-saving, material-saving and environmental protection effects, and it is also competitive in price. The price of remanufactured products is more than 30% lower than that of new products of the same type, and the profits of remanufacturing companies are generally not less than 30%, so this is a very profitable market.

In this way, it is possible to reduce the production cost of the product and achieve a high-quality level with a cost lower than the market. In our country, which is accustomed to fighting price wars to achieve the goal of occupying the market, it will further improve the competitiveness of its products and provide a solid foundation for our country's future sustainable development.
